Under the Radar – February
February has been and gone, which meant another busy month here at Lovell Rugby. Even with less days, there was no let up on the arrivals as we welcomed everything from rugby boots and rugby shirts to winter clothing and attire for the Rugby World Cup.
With the 6 Nations taking centre stage, February also welcomed the return of the NRL, Super League and Super Rugby so there was more than enough action to get excited about on both the international and domestic scene.
What with so much rugby to choose from, it’s understandable you may have missed out on some of our latest products so enjoy our picks from what the past month had to offer our rugby fans.
Back in the game, bringing a fresh new look and design, the Under Armour Blur Carbon IV brings an all new level of performance and comfort to your play.
Out with the old and in with the new, this latest model dispatches of the previous smooth surface over the upper and replaces it with a Wallaroo synthetic microfibre. The advantage of this is that you now benefit from a leather feel but with all the waterproof benefits of a synthetic so there is no need to worry about the weather.
Under Armour pride themselves on looking after your feet, such is the inclusion of their signature 4D Foam and MicroG footbed, bringing a great feel which instantly feels superior to standard inner soles. Even when these rugby boots are not in use, they can still be looked after courtesy of the free drawstring bag accompanying them.
Play your part in supporting a great cause with this Sydney Roosters 2014 Ltd Edition Breast Cancer Charity S/S Rugby Shirt, created by rugby experts ISC.
Presented in the same design template as the traditional Roosters rugby jersey, this charity offering is a rather more pink affair to highlight such a good cause. With pink at the core of the design then it is certainly eye-catching and distinct but there is still place for the NRL and Sydney Roosters badges to be proudly sported atop the chest.
Whether a Roosters fan, NRL follower or simply admire this rugby shirt, show your proud support in emphatic fashion.
You never know when the cold will hit so it’s always best to be prepared and what better way than with this casual yet stylish England Fleece Lined Rugby Beanie.
Made by Canterbury from soft 100% acrylic, this beanie will certainly help keep you warm all year round as your head is treated to a soft fleece lining.
Wear it on match day, on the high street or wherever else you feel the need to wrap up whilst showing your support for the England rugby team.
A great look for the Canterbury team, the Uglies Rotorua Low Plimsolls certainly aim to make a casual impression off the field.
Taking on a casual canvas design, this sits aside the rubber edge wrapped around the upper for added durability in everyday wear. Your feet are even treated to a luxurious touch by way of the padded inner sole, meaning you can sport these trainers with or without socks.
Presented in a classic marl tone, these Canterbury plimsolls even come with an extra pair of plain navy and red laces so you have the option of sporting a different look every time you lace them up.
Made from silk and celebrating the arrival of the Rugby World Cup, give yourself a smart look off the field by sporting this Webb Ellis Rugby World Cup 2015 Stripe Tie.
Forming part of the official Webb Ellis collection, the design is both simple and classy as navy and gold combine for a prestigious look. Why wait for the World Cup, start wearing this tie now and embrace the 2015 Rugby World Cup staged in England.
Stay with Lovell Rugby throughout 2014 as we continue to support you both on and off the rugby field. Don’t forget you can also take advantage of our FREEiD personalisation service, for the look of the professionals on your rugby boots.
