Rugby Boot Spotting – International (20th August 2011)
With the Rugby World Cup only a matter of weeks away, we take a look at some of the boots that you can expect to see in New Zealand throughout September and October. South Africa finally got the victory they have been craving against New Zealand in Port Elizabeth whilst Wales kept up their good run against Argentina at Cardiff’s Millenium Stadium. In this weeks edition of Rugby Boot Spotting we have Springboks Centre Jaque Fourie in Adidas Predator Rugby Boots and Argentinian Juan Fernandez Lobbe in Adidas R15′s.
We also have All Blacks flyer Israel Dagg wearing Adizero RS7′s, South African number 10 Morne Steyn kicking in a pair of Nike Mercurial Boots and Full Back Martin Rodriquez of Argentina taking on Wales in his Nike CTR 360′s.
Jaque Fourie
Plays for: Stormers and South Africa
Wears: Adidas Predator Rugby Boots White, Black & Gold

Versatile South African back Fourie shall be hoping that he and his team mates can repeat their heroics of 2007 and win the Rugby World Cup again this year. The team have defeated an under strength New Zealand team which was just what they needed after a poor run of results.
Juan Fernandez Lobbe
Plays for: Toulon and Argentina
Wears: Adidas R15 Rugby Boots Black & White

Argentina went down to a 28-13 against Wales at the weekend however it does not look all doom and gloom for the South Americans. Vice Captain Lobbe led from the front as always and put himself around the park all game.
Israel Dagg
Plays for: Crusaders & New Zealand
Wears: Adidas Adizero RS7 Rugby Boots White / Red

23 year old Dagg shall be hoping that his performance against South Africa at the weekend is enough to get him in to New Zealands 30 man squad for the Rugby World Cup. Dagg played at full back on Saturday although he is comfortable on the wing which should give him an advantage over other players hoping to make the final cut.
Morne Steyn
Plays for: Bulls and South Africa
Wears: Red Plum, White & Voltage Yellow Nike Mercurial Vapor Boots

Fly half Steyn knew he had to perform in Port Elizabeth on Saturday due to the re-emergence of Butch James on the International scene. Five penalties and a drop goal later, the Bulls man showed the coaches he should be the wearing the number 10 jersey.
Martin Rodriguez
Plays for: Stade Francais and Argentina
Wears: Nike CTR 360 FG Rugby Boots Gunmetal, White & Red

Argentinian Full Back Rodriguez shall be hoping he can fill the gap left by the injured Juan Martin Hernandez at this years RWC. Argentina have built themselves a reputation over the last few years and are now one of the top teams in world rugby.
