Rugby Boot Spotting – Aviva Premiership (3rd/4th September 2011)
Last weekend we welcomed back the Aviva Premiership in tremendous style. Wasps and Harlequins both picked up wins in the Twickenham double header on Saturday and Northampton nicked a win over Gloucester on Sunday. However the suprise of the weekend came at Welford Road where Exeter Chiefs managed a victory over Leicester Tigers. There were also wins for Worcester on their return to the Premiership and Bath who defeated Newcastle at Kingston Park. This week we have spotted Saracens new boy Charlie Hodgson in a pair of Black & Electricity Adidas Predator rugby boots, Carl Fearns of Bath wearing a pair of Puma v1.11 rugby boots and Gloucester powerhouse Lesley Vainikolo in the Under Armour Blur rugby boots. Also featured are Exeter Chiefs try-scorer Sireli Naqelevuki and Harlequins stand-off Nick Evans.
CHARLIE HODGSON
Plays for: Saracens and England
Wears: Adidas Predator RX SG Rugby Boots Black & Electricity

After missing out on the plane to New Zealand, Hodgson will be hoping that his summer move to London will help him re-discover the form that made him a regular in the England squad. He will also want to make sure that he gets the first call if something happens to Jonny Wilkinson or Toby Floor in New Zealand.
Carl Fearns
Play for: Bath
Wears: Puma v1.11 Rugby Boots White, Black & Dresden Blue

There are high expectations for 22 year old Fearns who is seen as a future England international. After captaining England under 18′s and being a member of the under 20 side of 2009, he will be hoping that his move to Bath can lead him to a full cap.
Lesley Vainikolo
Plays for: Gloucester and England
Wears: Under Armour Blur Rugby Boots Silver, Lime & Black

“Big Les” was shifted from the wing to inside centre for Gloucester’s opening game of the season against Northampton and although they lost, Vainikolo was more than a handful for the Saints defence. Although his England career was short lived, a handful of consistent performances will surely open the selectors eyes once again.
Sireli Naqelevuki
Plays for: Exeter Chiefs and Fiji
Wears: Asics Lethal DS 3 IT Rugby Boots White, Silver & Navy

23 seconds was all it took for Naqelevuki to open the scoring for the Chiefs against Leicester Tigers on Saturday. After an impressive first season at Sandy Park, the fans will be hoping that the big Fijian can keep Exeter in the Premiership this season.
Nick Evans
Plays for: Harlequins and New Zealand
Wears: Nike Total 90 Laser Rugby Boots Metallic Blue Dusk & Neon Yellow

Another ‘Man of the Match’ performance by Evans led the Quins to victory over London Irish at Twickenham on Saturday. Since coming over to England, the former All Black has pulled the strings in the 10 shirt at the Stoop and is key in everything that the team do.
