New Zealand All Blacks Debut New Rugby Kit Against Boks
The All Blacks got off to a fantastic start in there new Rugby kit by beating South Africa 40-7. The All Blacks debuted there new Shirt, which is the 5th since Adidas took the contact over from Canterbury in the 98/99 season.
In addition Adidas have added an anthem jacket to the range for the first time ever. The players will now wear there Anthem jacket onto the field and for the national anthem, then removing for the traditional Haka.
The new All Blacks shirt features a white collar, this is the first time since Adidas have had the contract this has happened. Many All Black fans will think it is a good luck sign as the shirt now resembles the 1987 All Blacks shirt, which they won the First ever Rugby World Cup held in New Zealand.
The shirt is again made from Adidas’s clima cool polyester. Just like the shirt the the All Blacks will wear in the Rugby World Cup this year, this shirt is made from super-light material with fine mesh panelling on the back for breathability. The Adidas Logo and Silver All Blacks Fern is Embroidered on the front of the shirt. Furthermore the new shirt has a Fern sublimated discreetly into the side/back of the shirt.
