Lovell Rugby Review the Under Armour Hydrastrike Pro II FG Rugby Boots White, Red & Black
Under Armour don’t deal with the ordinary when it comes to speed and performance, with the Under Armour Hydrastike II FG Rugby Boot a simple yet imposing offering.
A number of international players are now wear Under Armour boots and they are beginning to make an impact with amateur players as well as the professionals.
The purpose of the Hydrastrike Pro II is to offer a boot that focuses on player comfort and performance. It does this by working with the natural mechanics of the foot to allow for a quick change in direction and unpredictable turn of pace to get past opposition defenders.
Across the upper, the soft k-leather forefoot features Under Armour’s patented H20i water intelligence technology. The result is a fit that immediately feels comfortable from the toe to heel whilst protecting your feet from wet conditions.
Across the heel area, a performance synthetic delivers enhanced stability and combines with the upper leather for all-round performance at any level.
For optimum fit, the die-cut 4DFoam foot bed forms to the foot to provide maximum comfort whilst increasing stability and shock absorption.
The bottom layer of the foot bed uses Under Armour’s MicroG™, a revolutionary light and low cushioning innovation providing additional support and responsiveness. The all-important outsole sees the introduction of Under Armour’s Corespeed plate, engineered for natural firm surfaces. It is designed to offer superb traction when making rapid movements around the field.
Created from lightweight TPU, this design enhances the foot’s natural ability to accelerate with the flexibility to manoeuvre in any direction and keep up with the fast paced game. A combination of shorter moulded studs across the forefoot, for speed and acceleration, combine with longer blades on the heel to deliver power where you need it most.
