Lovell Rugby Product Review – Nike Pro Combat Shorts

This week we are looking at Nike’s brand new concept Nike Combat Battle Pro. The unique design encorperates both protection for the legs and baselayer to keep your warm. Available in both Black and white.
The shorts have been extensively tested by both of the English and French Rugby Senior Squads. The concept was originally launched from Nike Basketball in the USA and has now been rolled in Rugby and Football.
The Combat shorts in recent weeks have been worn by Ricki Flutey, Delon Armitage and Ugo Monye (who wears Nike Laser 3 Rugby Boots).
In addition Alot of French players such as Clement Poitrenaud, Mathieu Bastareaud, Vincert Clec (Who wears Nike Mercurial Vapors), Alex Palisson and Imanol Harinordoquy.

Protective baselayer shorts is a gap in the market that, until now, it seems that only Optimum have produced until now. Here at Lovell Rugby we think they are great for those who are looking for a baselayer under short whilst still offering protection from Dead legs etc… that are very common in Rugby from Personal experience.
As ever here at Lovell Rugby, we are very keen to here your feedback. Would you wear these?
