Rugby Boot Spotting – International (6th August 2011)
Plays for: Queensland Reds and Australia
After an amazing Super 15 season, Cooper struggled in Auckland. He was under constant pressure and in a poor Wallabies performance was not able to play his normal game. Took over the goal kicking from James O’Connor in the second half, kicking 2 conversions and a penalty. Cooper is clearly not signed with Adidas as he has blacked out the Adidas three stripes on the RS7 Rugby boots again.
Plays for: Cardiff Blues and Wales
The Young Blues second row played well as Wales narrowly lost to England at Twickenham. Again was wearing the fanstastic Asics Gel Warno boot in the White/Red colourway.
Plays for: Wellington Hurricanes and New Zealand All Blacks
The All Blacks winger was playing his first game for six weeks through injury. In the week All Blacks coach Graham Henry described him as the best winger in world Rugby. Opted to wear the New Adidas RS7 Rugby boot colour which definately stand out on the pitch!
Plays for: Ospreys and Wales
Wears: Puma V.11 Rugby Boots
Williams scored on Saturday which takes his tally to 56 International Rugby tries. Will be looking to gain form ahead of his last Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
Plays for: London Irish and England
Armitage was in brilliant form on Saturday at Full Back. The London Irish full back was due to debut the new Adidas RS7 Rugby speed boots in the Six Nations but was suspended. He then came back wearing Predator RX Rugby boots, so it was a surprise to see him wearing the new Speed boots. They clearing have done the trick as he was back to his old form with some strong running.
Plays for: Ulster and Ireland
Wears: Puma King Finale White
The Ulster wing/centre looked dangerous in Irelands defeat in Murrayfield. He should be a favourite to make the Rugby World Cup 2011 squad because he can cover dual positions.
