Hernandez to Return to Paris But To Racing Metro?

Former Stade Français playmaker Juan Martin Hernandez is said to have agreed to a deal with Racing-Métro 92. The Puma’s star in one of the top players in the world with his great skills from either fly half or Full Back. Nicknamed el Magico in his homeland because of his array of Skills Leicester Tigers were thought to have tried for two seasons to get his signature.

The Pumas fly-half moved to South Africa to play for the Sharks in July, but according to French newspaper Midi Olympique he is on the verge of signing with Stade’s Parisian rivals.

Hernandez was essentially driven out of Stade Français when the French giants needed to find some extra money after buying Scrum-half Julien Dupuy sparking a war of words between the Argentine star and club owner Max Guazzini. Ironically Dupuy who is currently appealing his 6 month ban from Rugby for Gauging against Ulster in the Heineken cup.

According the newspaper, Hernandez misses the French capital and is eager to return.

“I miss Paris,” said Hernandez.

“I fell in love with this city and I realize it now,” he added.

If Hernandez does sign with Racing, he’ll join another former Sharks player, Frans Steyn, in the multinational squad. Steyn (who wears Adidas Predator x Rugby boots) is thought to have signed one of the most Lucrative contracts in France to leave the Springboks and Join Racing who are lookinbg to become one of France’s biggest clubs. So Hernandez’s deal if it comes through be one of the largest deals in Rugby history.
