Latest Rugby News from Lovell Rugby

No matter what time of the year it is, there is always some rugby action taking place around the world so adidas have taken full advantage of the Southern Hemisphere calendar to put their colourful new collection out on the field.

The uniting feature of all four boots in the collection is the exciting new solar red design but that’s where the similarities end though as each model brings its own performance features and design to the game. With a rugby boot for every position, Lovell Rugby are here to guide you through the adiPower Kakari, FF80, Predator Incurza, adiZero RS7 along with video content of the players lacing up these top level rugby boots.

adidas adiPower Kakari

An evolution not revolution, adidas build on the success of the Kakari with their latest model suited to the player who wants to dominate the scrum and is the foundation of their team. Treated to a Bravo synthetic leather, this has the feel of a soft K-leather but is far stronger to deliver a specific forward play boot.

Check out the video of All Blacks prop Owen Franks looking in-depth at the adiPower Kakari.

adidas FF80

Powering across the game line and ready to tackle anything, every aspect of the FF80 has been engineered to increase traction in scrums, rucks and mauls. The choice of loose forwards who want to be faster to the breakdown and need a solid platform for explosive acceleration.

New Zealand All Blacks captain Richie McCaw discusses the FF80 as his choice of rugby boot.

adidas Predator Incurza

For the match winner and play-maker, the Predator Incurza helps you take control of your game. Created with backs in mind to offer enhanced accuracy and kicking control, three performance kicking zones put the player first with this entirely new design from adidas.

Rugby legend Dan Carter talks about the Predator Incurza.

adidas adiZero RS7 Pro

The lightest rugby specific boot ever created by adidas, the adiZero RS7 Pro is draped in a lightweight Sprint Skin upper which is light, softer and stronger than all other synthetics. Still able to cope with the physical demands of rugby, the rubberised print over the surface also improves your kicking control.

Ma’a Nonu gives a quick guide to the adiZero RS7 Pro.
