Latest Rugby News from Lovell Rugby

Whilst all eyes will undoubtedly be on the British & Irish Lions Tour of Australia this summer, England have just announced they will be playing three matches on a tour of South America in June.

The first game of the three match tour will see England take to the field against a representative side from the South American nations. This will be followed up by two Test matches as England face Argentina for the first time since their 2011 Rugby World Cup encounter. Prior to this, their last actual Test encounter saw Los Pumas emerge victorious from a bruising and bloodied match, 24-22.

This will be the first time England and Argentina have faced each other in back-to-back Test matches since 1997, when Los Pumas last played host to England. With many players expected to be on Lions duty, the full England squad will not be announced until early May.

June 2nd: CONSUR XV v England (7:30pm BST)

June 8th: Argentina v England (8:10pm BST)

June 15th: Argentina v England (8:10pm, BST)
