Bath Rugby Launch Their New Puma Home Shirt

Lovell Rugby can show you the new Bath Rugby Home shirt, which is in stock for fast delivery now. The home shirt which is Puma’s 3rd home shirt since they picked up the contract in 2005. After consulting the fans and the club Puma went back to Bath’s Iconic Striped shirt which was made famous in the ameteur game where they dominated English Rugby. The shirt features main sponsor IPL (Intelligent Buisness Solutions) and Blackthorn Cider on the arm.

Jason Robinson Comes Out Of Retirement To Join Fylde

Three months after being released as Sale’s head coach, Jason Robinson has made the shock decision to come out of playing retirement for Fylde, in the fourth tier of English rugby.

The World Cup-winning full back-cum-wing, 36 on Friday, has agreed to sign for the Lancashire club who are based in Lytham St Annes and compete in National League Two North - three divisions below the Aviva Premiership.

Robinson’s last competitive appearance was in the 2007 World Cup final against South Africa at the Stade de France in Paris.

Cardiff Blues Unveil Their New 2010/12 Home and Alternate Rugby Shirts

Lovell Rugby can today unveil the new Cardiff Blues 2010/12 Home and Alternate Shirts. The home shirt will the first Blues shirt since the Blues Region was formed that the shirt has moved away from a light blue.

Tigers and England Scrum Half Harry Ellis Forced To Retire

Leicester Tigers and England scrum-half Harry Ellis has announced his retirement from professional rugby after an ongoing battle with injury.

Ellis played all of his professional club rugby at Leicester Tigers, making 173 first-team appearances.

He graduated from the Tigers Academy ranks and announced his arrival in senior rugby with semi-final try against Llanelli in 2002 which helped to ensure the club’s appearance in a second successive Heineken Cup Final.

But in 2007 he missed an entire season after rupturing the ACL in his left knee, an injury qwhich required a knee reconstruction.

Sir Ian McGeechan Joins Bath Rugby

Bath have confirmed the appointment of Sir Ian McGeechan as their new performance director ahead of the coming campaign.

McGeechan has been working in consultancy roles since the end of the British & Irish Lions tour to South Africa and his departure from London Wasps.

He was most recently working in an advisory capacity at Gloucester, assisting head coach Bryan Redpath at Kingsholm over a five-month period.

Lovell Rugby Product Review - Adidas F50 Adi Zero Rugby Boots

Today we have chosen to take a look at Adidas’s Brand new Speed Boot- the Adi Zero. The Boot which was unveiled earliar this month will take over from the Current F50 Model. The F50 made waves in the boot market 4 years ago when Adidas launched the boot with the concept of changing your sole plate from Firm ground to Soft ground. Adidas have now moved totally away from this and are focussing are on the wight of the boot. They have done this by going back to having one sole plate- eg firm ground for hard ground and Metal studs for soft ground. The Adi Zero is now the lightest boot in the Market. Weighing in at an impressive 175 grams!.

Chris Ashton Wins Guinness Premiership Player Of The Season

Northampton and England winger Chris Ashton has won the Guinness Premiership Player of the Season award.

It caps a meteoric rise for the 23-year-old who switched codes from rugby league and Wigan in 2007.

This term Ashton (Who Wears Nike Superfly 2 Rugby Boots) finished with 16 tries in 20 matches for Saints - the highest total in a single season for over a decade and second only to Dominic Chapman, who scored 17 for Richmond in the 1997/98 season.

His outstanding form also saw him break into the England set-up, securing his first cap in the Six Nations clash against France in March.

Henry Wants Sonny Bill Williams Back To Push For All Black Place

New Zealand coach Graham Henry has made it clear to Sonny Bill Williams he will need to prove himself at a provincial and Super Rugby level in New Zealand before he can be considered for possible international honours.

Henry revealed on Friday he had spoken at length to the former Rugby League superstar earlier this year and also to former All Blacks captain Tana Umaga - the man who signed him up for Toulon when Williams walked out of the Canterbury Bulldogs in 2008.

Saints Prevail In Fight for Their Star Prop Against Saracens

Northampton Saints have reached an ‘amicable agreement’ with Saracens over the Soane Tonga’uhia affair, with the prop staying at Franklin’s Gardens.

A club statement released by Saints on Thursday explained that the Guinness Premiership duo had settled the saga once and for all, meaning there was no need for scheduled talks with the PRL.

Tongan international loosehead Tonga’uiha had initially agreed to join Saracens in January but then pulled out of the move, saying he wanted to remain with Saints after all.
