2013 World Club Challenge – Leeds Rhinos v Melbourne Storm
The two champions of rugby league collide, as north meets south in the 2013 World Club Challenge. Super League XVII Champions Leeds Rhinos will take to the field against NRL Premiers, the Melbourne Storm, for the honour of being crowned World Club Champions on 22nd February.
In the blue corner and representing England, Leeds Rhinos go into the match having already claimed three World Club Challenge titles over the past seven years as well as six Super League titles. The Melbourne Storm are no strangers to silverware themselves though, having been crowned World Club Champions in 2000 and twice NRL Premiers.
Home advantage for Leeds will undoubtedly play a big part but all the talking and action will take place on the rugby pitch.
Continuing with a traditional royal and yellow design, these colours dominate the body and sleeves of the Leeds Rhinos rugby shirt and are befitting of a team that so often also dominates the on-field action. The club badge is stitched onto the left chest and joined by several sponsors including Leeds Building Society over the centre of the chest. Even the shoulders and back do not escape the sponsor treatment which supports a number of local businesses.
Forming part of the ISC Game Day collection, this brings authentic club gear from the players straight to the dedicated team supporters, designed for true fans of the team.
Made by BLK, from 100% polyester, this Melbourne Storm rugby shirt has been developed to fulfill the needs of both the modern player and supporter.
For a professional look and feel to the shirt, the sponsors appear in a sublimated format across the front, back and sleeves whilst the Melbourne Storm badge is stitched atop the left chest.
As a unique touch detailing this historic sporting occasion, ‘World Club Challenge, Melbourne v Leeds 2013′ is stitched in small navy lettering over the right side of the chest.
